About ROCPAC
Repeal Obamacare PAC (“ROCPAC”) is a federally registered PAC founded in March 2010 that supports candidates for U.S. Congress who pledge to use their vote in Congress to repeal the monstrosity of federally run healthcare in America and the many destructive aspects of the "healthcare reform" affectionately known as "Obamacare."
There are worthy goals for healthcare reform, and ROCPAC recognizes there may be some aspects of healthcare reform legislation that are meritorious. However, ROCPAC rejects, and will support candidates who reject, the massive government intrusion represented by Obamacare. Along these lines, ROCPAC:
- Rejects government mandates and layered regulations that will cripple small businesses;
- Believes that the United States has the strongest health care system in the world, one that is the source of innovations and new medical technologies that have vastly increased the quality of life for Americans for decades;
- Believes that the government has no business interjecting itself into the personal healthcare decisions of American citizens, or causing health care directly or indirectly to be rationed;
- Supports the right of American citizens to keep their current health coverage;
- Believes that no health care reform should keep important, personal health care decisions in the hands of patients and their medical providers, without interference from federal bureaucrats;
- Believes that the overall goal of health reform should be to increase access to medical treatment, empower patients, and ensure that health insurance is affordable.
We will support candidates who are clear that they believe in these principles. We will support candidates who also recognize that the federal government is growing at an alarming rate and so is government interference in our lives. The road to economic recovery lies with the free market system, not a command and control bureaucracy.
ROCPAC is beginning a grassroots fundraising effort that is critical to our reaching our goal of assuring that Congress again becomes the voice of the American people. If you support our stated goals and believe that Obamacare must be stopped immediately, and that our representatives must again be the voice of the American people, please join our fight. We need support from ordinary citizens around American who understand why Obamacare is wrong for America.
